The Bimini Islands are the western most islands of the Bahamas group, and the closest foreign islands to the US mainland, lying 47 miles due east of Miami, FL. The Biminis generally refers to two islands - North and South Bimini. A third, private, island - Cat Cay - lies approximately 10 miles south of North Bimini and is geographically a part of the Biminis, but locally is considered a separate island. This category holds sites for the Bimini islands, as well as Cat Cay.
