County Louth (Contae Lú in Irish) is on the east coast of Ireland. It is the smallest County in Ireland, also known as "the Wee County". It has an area of 820 km squared with a population according to the 2006 census of 110,894. The principal town of County Louth is Dundalk and the bordering counties are Meath, Monaghan and Armagh.
