Cholesbury and St Leonards are villages a few miles east of Wendover and provide the basis for the parish of Cholesbury-cum-St Leonards. The parish is on the border with Hertfordshire and to the north lies Tring and to the east, Berkhampstead.
The area is administered by Chiltern District Council.
