This category leads to websites for the ceremonial county of Cambridgeshire in  Eastern England, inland from
Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex, north of Hertfordshire, and east of Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire.
The  City of Peterborough is a unitary authority at the north west tip of Cambridgeshire.
The remainder of the county is divided at local government level into:
Cambridge City, and the Districts of East Cambridgeshire, Fenland, Huntingdonshire, and South Cambridgeshire.
Besides  Cambridge and  PeterboroughEly has a cathedral, whereas the major towns include:
  HuntingdonSt IvesSt Neots and  Wisbech.
Much of north Cambridgeshire is below or near sea level, and before the seventeenth century was drained,
and with parts of  South Holland District of Lincolnshire form  The Fens.
