My Account
Since April 2009, the county of Cornwall is administered as a unitary authority, with its politics derived
from the other Celtic nations, like Wales, but without its own devolved Assemby status.
The county is represented at UK Government level by Members of Parliament for six constituents:
  • Camborne & Redruth,
  • North Cornwall
  • South East Cornwall,
  • St Austell & Newquay,
  • St Ives (including  Silly),
  • Truro & Falmouth
Websites for political parties and electoral candidates should be listed under the  Politics category.
Before the 2009 Cornwall Council with its headquarters in Truro, there were five districts:
Penwith, Kerrier, Carrick, Caradon and North Cornwall, and
the Restormel Borough, all now redundant.
Where possible websites are listed according to their geographical locality, based on their postal town,
and only where website content stretches across these are they listed directly here.
The town and parish councils can be be seen in the  Regional Tree View  .
In some cases where Parish Council websites provide substantial non-government information, they me be asssigned
to the  Guides & Directories   topic.
