Gunnislake is a large village on the west bank of the River Tamar, in north east of  Calstock parish, where
the A390 provides the only road crossing of the Tamar, north of  Saltash.
The A390 runs through the west of Calstock parish to  Callington, and
the bridge crosses from Devon at the parish of Gulworthy on the way from  Tavistock.
Gunnislake railway station, is at the end of the line from Plymnouth via  Bere Alston.
This station is on the hill south of the main conurbation at Drakewalls.
