Ogwell is the parish immediately to the south west of the market town of  Newton Abbot.  It is surrounded by parishes administered by
 Teignbridge District Council, namely  Ilsingtonto the north,  Bickington to the north west, 
  Abbotskerswell to the to the east,  Ipplepen to the south, with the parish of Denbury and Torbryan to the south west.
