Haxey is a village and parish south east of  Wroot in the west of North Lincolnshire,
with the  West Lindsey parish of  Misterton, as its southern boundary.
This includes the hamlet of Graizelound, on the A161 south, over Warping Drain and Ferry Drain to Tindale Bank.
The north bank of the River Idle, and Haxey Gate Bridge, are over the boundary with the parish of Misterton.
The parish of Haxey also includes the hamlet of East Lound, and the area west, drained into the River Trent, through the parish of  Owston Ferry.
From the village of Haxey northwards, the A161 leads through the hamlet of Low Burnham, before reaching the parish of  Epworth.
From the village of Haxey westwards, the B1396 leads through the village, which despite being in the same parish, has its own category at  Westwoodside.
