- There is a railway station on the north bank of South Forty-Foot Drain, at Swineehead Bridge.
- The railway runs paraliel between this drain and the A1121 road, through Hubberts Bridge west of Boston.
- Wigtoft is south east along the A17, before Sutterton.
- Donington is to the south east in South Holland District.
