History museum for the London Borough of Waltham Forest. The museum showcases around 80,000 historic photographs, local heritage artifacts and other items of historical interest.

Housed in a former Victorian waste water pumping station, the entirely volunteer-driven museum equipped with a shop and a cafe is devoted to the technology, transport and industrial history of Walthamstow and the Lea Valley. It hosts a unique pair of Marshall steam engines, a collection of small pumps of different types, an original 1968 Victoria Line tube car, and an extensive collection of fire fighting equipment, among other artifacts.

The only public museum devoted to William Morris - prominent English designer, craftsman, early socialist and conservationist. The building was the Morris's family home from 1848 to 1856 and also holds a generous collection of furniture, textiles, ceramics and other objects by Morris's followers in the English Arts and Crafts movement.
