Chute is a Wiltshire Council parish on the border with Hampshire at  Tangley.
The main conurbation is Upper Chute, but with smaller settlements collectively known as The Chutes.
Chute Forest has its own parish south east of Lower Chute, Chute Standen and Chute Cadley.
Conholt Park is on the north east boundary of Chute parish, where the northern boundary follows
the course of Grim's Ditch, with the Roman road, Chute causeway, within the parish until
it heads north around the west of Haydown Hill to Tidcombe, in the combined parish of
Tidcombe and Fosbury, where websites are also included here.
Oxenwood is in  Shalbourne parish further north.
Buttermere, the border parish north east of Fosbury ( north of Hampshire's Linkenholt and
Vernhams Dean ), is also represented by the Shalbourne category.
The western boundary of Chute parish is at Collingbourne Wood, represented
by  Collingbourne Ducis to the west.
