The most northern community in New Brunswick, the Town of Dalhousie is located in the county of Restigouche (east) at the mouth of the Restigouche River.
The communities of Point la Nim and Eel River Bar Reserve are at the extremities of the Dalhousie, with Eel River Crossing to the south. Dalhousie is the most important industrial and seaport centre in northern New Brunswick.
