Mount Uniacke is located in East Hants of Hants County, off Exit 3 of Highway 101, on old Highway 1, about halfway between Upper Sackville and the Minas Basin.

Mount Uniacke is named for Lord Uniacke and is two miles from Uniacke House, a provincial park site featuring the heritage home of Lord Uniacke. It's a great place to picnic and hike or stroll in the summer and offers tobogganing, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing in the winter. It has one of the highest concentration of horses per capita in Canada.
