Babson Park is a small community on Crooked Lake southeast of Lake Wales in Polk County.
Originally known as Crooked Lake, citizens voted to rename the community Babson Park in 1923. Roger W. Babson, entrepreneur, educator, and philanthropist, dedicated land to the community and his wife was the founder of Webber College.
