Grand Rapids Township, in Itasca County, Minnesota, nearly surrounds the city of Grand Rapids, and is just southwest of Coleraine. To the east is Trout Lake Township. South of Grand Rapids Township is Harris Township. Grand Rapids Township is bounded on the west by the city of Cohasset. To the north is Arbo Township.
