The city of Isle, Minnesota, population 566, is on the southeastern shore of Lake Mille Lacs, at the junction of State Highways 27 and 47. Isle is the gateway to Father Hennepin State Park. The city is in Mille Lacs County, 9 miles east-northeast of Onamia, or about 45 miles northeast of St. Cloud.
