Cohuna is located about 3 hours north of Melbourne. Situated on the Gunbower Creek, it is a popular holiday spot as well as a regional sports centre with a wide range of facilities.
Major Mitchell's trails are a large part of the local history, but being situated close to the Murray River and associated wetlands has also given Cohuna a rich history in agriculture. There are a number of monuments and sites to visit that reflect Cohuna and District's growing wealth of historical facts.
