Sasak, also known as Lombok, is a Western Malayo-Polynesian member of the Austronesian language family spoken primarily on Lombok Island in Indonesian. Sasak to some extent is a cover name for a broad range of related dialects, the extremes of which are borderline non-mutually intelligible.
