A didgeridoo is an Aboriginal musical instrument traditionally made and used in parts of northern Australia. In Aboriginal society, a didgeridoo is typically made from termite-hollowed eucalyptus trees. These days, however, there are non-Aboriginal makers and manufacturers of the didgeridoo in all parts of the world who offer instruments made from a wide range of materials including plastic, glass, and leather, and mechanically hollowed woods such as pine, teak, fruit trees, agave, and yucca.
