Virginia has eight law schools, seven of which are accredited by the American Bar Association. All(except for George Mason University School of Law in the 11th) are located within the ABA's 4th Circuit. Three of these schools are public, and the newest law school, Liberty University, was established in 2002 and set to accept its first students in August 2004.
