A Christian communal movement founded in 1922 by Eberhard Arnold, a German scholar and theologian, the Bruderhof Communities have spread to England, the United States, and Australia.
The Bruderhof Communities are rooted in Anabaptist and early Christian traditions, committed to nonviolence, justice, and fellowship, based on Christ's 'Sermon on the Mount'.
