National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is the predominant sanctioning body of intercollegiate activities for four-year college and university sport programs within the United States.
It is a voluntary association of approximately 1,200 institutions, conferences, organizations and individuals. The NCAA also stands for good conduct in intercollegiate athletics and serves as the colleges' national athletics accrediting agency.
