Goaltender Sergei Naumov was born on April 4, 1969 in Riga, Latvia. He began his North American hockey career with the Sacrmento River Rats of RHI in 1994. He later won Taylor Cups with the WCHL San Diego Gulls. Naumov has also played for the Latvian national team in the World Championships.
