Q: Should I submit my site here or in another category?
A:
The time taken for your submission to be accepted will be increased if you submit to the wrong directory. In short, the category editor assesses each submission and if found to be in the wrong category, the editor will resubmit your site to the correct category on your behalf. This obviously increases the time for review. If you primarily offer personal one-on-one lessons, your site should be submitted to the Games/Board_Games/Abstract/Battle_Games/Chess/Education/Scholastic category. This is a common mistake. Note that there are also other categories for problems (puzzles), books, clubs or chess history. If your site contains more content than just tutorials and FAQs, consider the primary purpose of your site. If it is to offer tutorials or FAQs, submit your site here. If the purpose is to offer more than tutorials or FAQs, submit your site to a higher category. Note that the higher the category, the harder it is to be listed and the longer it may take. Generally, you cannot submit subpages of your site to multiple categories. Please spend time researching the categories before submitting your site. Time spent here will save a lot of time later on.

Q: What is the difference between tutorials and lessons?
A:
You may note that we have subcategories for tutorials and lessons. The lessons category is an alias of the scholastic category. What this means is that both the lessons and scholastic categories are in fact the same category. The differentiation between lessons and tutorials is that lessons are one-on-one personalized lessons or training, where tutorials are articles or videos used to train a group of people at their own pace. Please be aware of this difference before submitting your site,

Q: What does it mean if a site title is followed by star icon?
A:
The star icon represents a "cool" site. This simply means that the site was chosen by a category editor as a site of exceptional quality that contains information of extreme relevance to this category.
