Lady Caroline Lamb - UK (1972), romantic period drama written and directed by Robert Bolt. Based on actual events, in 1805 impulsive Lady Caroline (Sarah Miles) marries William Lamb (Jon Finch) later Lord Melbourne and then Prime Minister, and then disgraces him with her wildness, having a scandalous affair with the poet Lord Byron (Richard Chamberlain).
