Amersham is located in the  south east of Buckinghamshire, 27 miles north west of  London.

Dorney is a village and parish in the extreme south of the county in a peninsula to the southwest of Slough, (Berkshire.) The parish has substantial frontage on the river Thames and borders on Eton and Eton Wick, both of which lend character to the area.
