- Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland (formerly Langbaurgh-on-Tees) & Stockton-on-Tees
- Hartlepool and Stockton (North of the River Tees) are sometimes treated as part of County Durham.
- Langbaurgh-on-Tees, Middlesbrough and Stockton (South of the River Tees) are sometimes treated as part of North Yorkshire.
