West Parley is a parish and town south of the A348 road, and  Ferndown, formerly in East Dorset District.
The southern parish boundary coincides with the River Stour, with  Poole immediately south.
The eastern boundary is with  Hurn and Bournemouth airport.
The B3073 road leads from East Parley, past Dudsbury Castle, Longham, Hampreston and
Little Canford at the south of the parish to  Colehill and  Wimborne Minster.
