A joint effort by Dow Chemical, the Gulf Coast Conservation Association, and Texas Parks and Wildlife, created the Texas Sea Center. Located in Lake Jackson, the 11 million dollar saltwater fish hatchery showcases a 22,000 square foot hatchery building that houses redfish and speckled trout brood fish, producing over 20 million fingerlings a year.
