This category includes sites providing area transport resources for those travelling to and from, and within the county.

Most websites are listed in their localities. To be listed here, an organisation must have premises in several Dorset localities and none elsewhere.

This category leads to websites for area attractions and resources for those travelling in the county, including tourist guides, holiday accommodation (Accommodation or its sub-categories) such as Hotels, Bed and Breakfast or Self-Catering.  Listing at county level is for websites dealing with more than one location in the county.

Priority is given to listing websites in their locality category where available,
but this may mean those categories are too small to justify a Travel and Tourism
subcategory, linked from here.
By clicking the  Regional Tree View  symbol, at the end of the path, then those localities and websites will be revealed.

Note that this category is only for websites which either relate to the whole of Dorset

(or a significant part of the county), or relate to multiple localities within the county.
If the website is related to a single locality in the county then it should be suggested to
that locality (or one of its sub-categories if an appropriate one exists).
and is not suitable for listing at county level.
Websites which include information on a wider area than just Dorset,
should be considered for the lowest suitable location above Dorset;
This could be the South West Region, England or the UK.
Deep links of any such sites will not be added to Dorset.
